As a trained aquaculture technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation on a aquaculture facility. Daily tasks include maintaining fish welfare, monitoring and feeding marine organisms like fish, and ensuring that the organisms have good living and growing conditions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div>

<\/p>\n Aqua technician<\/h5>\n Kristian Bredahl<\/h3>\n I work for Kleiva Fiskefarm as an aquaculture technician. \nA typical day for me includes daily operations at the facility I am located at. I make sure that all routines and procedures are followed throughout the day. This implies, among other thinngs, maintenance of feeding equipment and daily rounds on the sea pen.<\/p>\n Fish welfare is the key to a healthy and robust fish, which will also give a better quality. At the facility I am now, we have lumpfish (cleaner fish) as well as lice-skirts to prevent sea lice from getting inside the pen. In addition, we will place lice lasers in the pens.
